Miranda Good

Hi! My name is Miranda, but my students call me Miss Good. :) I will be teaching my 8th year in special education this school year, 4th year with students who have behavioral and emotional issues. I absolutely LOVE my kiddos and the challenges that come along with them. Over the years, the school districts I have been a part of have done what they can in regards to funding for our classrooms. The basics are usually covered, but if we want to do experiments or activities that need different ingredients or supplies, they are usually coming out of my personal pocket. As an intervention specialist, I also spend any extra funds I personally have on incentives and rewards for my students making their behavioral and/or academic goals. Trying to keep up and also make it as individualized as possible (so students feel ownership over their goals) really adds up. Any and all donations will go straight to my classroom and students and they are ALL appreciated, no matter how small. Hi!
