Michael Nackers

I have been teaching at Shaw Elementary School for 2 years. This will be my 3rd year. Shaw is an inner city Achievement School located in Tampa Florida. It has 99 percent free and reduced lunch students which mean that almost all the families need help financially. I have been teaching math and science at Achievement Schools since I have graduated college at The University Wisconsin Stout 19 years ago. As you could of guessed I'm from Wisconsin. My family and friends are all still there and I get to see them a few times during the year. I met my wife at my first school. She was the speech pathologist there. We have been married 14 years and have three children. I love working at Shaw Elementary as I feel I make more of a difference and can positively impact the lives of my students by showing them that with a little hard work and perseverance that they can achieve anything.
