I teach approximately 650 students per week in grades PreK-5th grade including CDC. I have been teaching 15 years and currently teach STEM/STEAM. I am currently in my 3rd year of STEM. I teach in a rural county in West Tennessee where most of the students come from poverty level homes, single mothers, or grandparents raising their grandchildren. Even though I am not in a traditiyclassroom setting, the students get to experience experiments and field trips they ordinarily would not. This past fall, I took a group of students to The University of Memphis for a robotic completion. Some of the student had never been to Memphis and had never seen a University.
