Three years ago, after 19 years of being a work at home mom, I nervously decided to rejoin the teaching community. Now, I teach Biology to freshman at the best high school in the best district in Texas! (At least I think so:)
This year, along with regular Biology classes, I volunteered to teach Bio to the NAC kids. (New Arrival Center) These kids have been in America 6 months or less and are eagerly learning English.
We have to use tons of pics hands on materials in these classes to help them understand the concepts & topics and I would use any donations to purchase 3D science models and manipulatives which I will also get to use with my on-level Biology kids.
