About
I am a new teacher and am the first of my family to graduate college. I come from a military family and grew up at army posts all over the country.
My diverse upbringing has given me a very wide world view. I have seen many different places and appreciate all the different people I've met.
I'm currently teaching at a career and tech high school that serves children with a very low socio-economic status. Our goals are to not only have students graduate high school, but make sure they have a skill or trade they can apply. This past year we had a 100% graduation rate for our seniors! All of them graduated with some sort of certification or with a scholarship.
Despite these wonderful things, our district simply cannot afford to put technology in each classroom. That is my goal here.
