This is my 10th year in teaching. I have always been part of a bilingual/ESL program. I started off in Steger, Illinois and I am currently a middle school teacher in Chicago Heights, Illinois. I have a 6-8 grade bilingual class. So far it has been a hectic start, but I am always up for a challenge. This year I want to have field trips to Medieval Times and The Apple Store which your contributions will help with. These trips will tie into our Social Studies and Science curriculum. Additionally, I am starting a LEGO/Robotics club that I need to purchase sets and tablets for. This club will teach students math, science, and STEM initiatives as well as just having fun while being creative!
