I entered the teaching profession in the US in 2017. Since then I have taught ELA Reading and Social Studies to 3rd graders. My greatest joy however has been developing my students holistically and helping them become equipped to contribute to society. This year, I hope to have as much of a great impact teaching Reading to my two second grade classes.
I am really about using my profession to bless my kids with all the love that they so truly need. According to Maya Angelou"People will forget what you said, or what you did but they won't forget how you made them feel."
It's because of all the sacrifices that all my past teachers made, my mom being one of them, that I am here as a teacher today. I had no choice but to give back some of what was given to me. I have it fastened in my heart that the more I receive the more I will give. That's my true story. My story will be greater when those that I teach will live to tell their own story of how I made them feel. Then the rippling effect will continue. Please help me add to my story by donating; lets get these kids all the supplies that they need to succeed. Thank you!
