After reading each book two or three times, students would be allowed to take an Accelerated Reading quiz. Taking these quizzes will help them meet their reading goals in my classroom. Students will enjoy the colorful pictures, which help beginning readers understand the meaning of the text. We could use the books for whole class, small group, and independent practice.I would also purchase novelty prizes to reward students who meet these rigorous reading goals. Students would get to pick a prize of their choice upon meeting their quarterly goals. Won't you help my students blossom into fluent readers?
