About
I'm a 7th grade English Language Arts teacher at the Metropolitan Expeditionary Learning School (also known as MELS), a public school that serves grades 6-12 in Queens, New York. Our school is an incredible place because we believe in creating unique experiences for our students to learn about themselves, their community, and their world. The courses of study in my classroom reflect the state of our society today, and I design my curriculum to enable my students to be critical and reflective of the world around them.
