From my first job babysitting twins at 9, to high school being called "Mother Goose," to my first job in an early childcare center, teaching has been an unchanging passion. For the last 5 years, I have the pleasure of working at a Title 1 school with most students from families of poverty. Many of these students have not recieved early education and have minimal exposure to books and phonics skills including fine motor skills. Providing these students with differentiated instruction to meet their needs while building a strong foundation is key to students future academic success.
