My story began in a different language: French! I started my teaching journey in France, teaching English to elementary-aged children. This was where I discovered my passion for helping children grow into critically thinking, compassionate adults. Back in the US, I continued my teaching journey in an immersion school where I taught all core subjects in French to students in grades K-2 for four years. Now I'm back to my native language teaching kindergarten this year, although I will most certainly continue sharing my French with students during our Enrichment periods! Otherwise, my efforts will be focused on creating a comfortable, curiosity-inducing classroom in order to best support my students grow throughout my year with them.
