I was always told that I would make an excellent teacher. I even tested the waters of teaching when I was in college. It just was not the right time for me.
On my birthday, July 13, 2017 I told myself, I would become a teacher by my birthday the following year. I was accepted into Urban Teachers, early 2018 in and decided to come to Baltimore to start my teaching journey. July 13,2018 I spent in a classroom of wonderful rising first graders.
June 2018-May 2019, I was given a year of observing teachers and studying at Johns Hopkins University, September 3rd, 2019, I will have my first group of wonderful students to call my own class.
