About
I am a teacher new to kindergarten! I am trying to make a difference in my students' lives. I want to offer them the most engaging and opportunistic education possible, but that is difficult without a successful phonics program. With your much appreciated donations, I could begin to make special things happen to help my students begin to read. I work at a school that is located in a high poverty area of Henderson, Nevada. 100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. They come from extremely diverse backgrounds, struggling with behavior, academics, and second language acquisition. Many of my students struggle with attendance and transiency, due to being homeless at times. Having a classroom learning environment that is fun and engaging would increase positive student involvement within the classroom, and I want to give my students every opportunity to be successful in every way.
