I am North Carolina born and raised and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. We have the best of both worlds, nestled in between the mountains and the ocean. I love to travel, cook, and spend time with family, friends and my fur baby. I have had the privilege to teach second graders for 12 going on 13 years. This age and grade is near and dear to my heart and though it is a challenge each and every day it is also very rewarding. With the many tasks we have now in education it becomes overwhelming at times. It is still my hope every day that I am somehow reaching these young students not just academically but also supporting them emotionally. It is our job to equip them with the necessary tools to go out and conquer the world. I hope you will consider giving these students new books in their hands and a comfortable place to learn with flex seating. Thanks so much for your support!
