I originally started my career in NewYork, New York in 1999 as a 6th grade teacher. To be honest, I wasn't to happy with it, but after going through 9/11 with my students and watching them witness something like that, made me realize how much they needed me and in turn how much I needed them I stuck it out and turns out how much I love my career. I never saw myself doing anything else. I can't even describe the glow I get from teaching.
