I graduated from Capital University with a BA in Middle Childhood Education in 2017. Since then, I have worked as an administrator for an after school/summer program and a classroom teacher. I started teaching 4th grade at my current school last October. When I arrived, I learned that my students had gone through three teachers already! I really had to work hard for my students trust and to get then back on track for learning. Everything worked out and we had a fabulous school year. I have those same students this school year, except now they're 5th graders! In addition to teaching 5th grade this year, my school decided to surprise me a week before school started and told me I would also be teaching 4th grade. Luckily I have some resources from last year, but I've been running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to balance everything. Even so, I'm sure this school year will be just as great as the last one!
