About
I was born and raised in Houston, TX as the oldest of 3 girls. I always had a knack for teaching which I can attest to at a young age. With me being the oldest I always sought out ways to teach my younger siblings new things. I knew I wanted to be a teacher in second grade. I'm a first generation college graduate to revive both my bachelors and masters degrees and plan to further my education on a doctoral level.
I hope to be able to step outside of the classroom in my later career and work with incoming teachers that are eager to leave their mark on future generations. I love collaborating with my peers and sharing ideas on ways we can improve as educators! Throughout my career I can say I've learned about perseverance, collaborative effort, social and cultural awareness and what it means to be an impactful teacher.
