My name is Amy Momsen. I teach 3rd grade ELA at Dermott Elementary. Where I teach is very low income, high poverty area. Reading scores are below level. As a reading teacher, my passion for reading and teaching come full force. I want my students leaving my class on grade level. I work hard all year to pull those levels up and it takes lots of work. I know that each student is more than just a test score and I want each of my students to shine. If you are helping me, you are helping each one of them succeed.
