About
I am 42 years old and have decided to follow my life long dreams of becoming a teacher. I have worked for the school system for 8 years. I have been a substitute teacher and fell in love with special education. Most of my career I have been a school financial secretary. I love working with the children. I have 3 children of my own, all boys ages 15,14,10. They keep me going. I have an undergraduate degree in accounting. I will have my masters degree in special education in April 2020. I am a 4 1/2 year breast cancer survivor. Going through that diagnosis and treatments for that humbled me and made me realize that pursuing your dreams is very important. I want to give my students the best teacher and education they can have.
