I am a single mother of an amazing girl named, Sami. Sami has taught me so much more than I expected when she was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. It has made me a better person and a better teacher. Healthy relationships with my 8th graders are my number one priority. After that is established, it is a subtle transfer to focus on curriculum and the end goal is to be in successful in both areas.
