About
I have an extremely diverse group of young learners. Each of my special education students has their own needs and it is a huge responsibility for me to meet their individual goals and support these needs each day. Some of my students are outgoing, while others are very reserved and shy. Some students enjoy reading, others cannot get enough of hands-on math lessons! My students learn best with differentiation and visuals. Our classroom is their second home, a place that is their own, where they feel safe and love to learn. Our classroom is their biggest resource in the school, they use the materials and tools in our room to become more independent and take ownership in their learning each day. They are all eager to continue working toward their goals this year!
