About
Hello! I am a junior high life skills teacher at a Title 1 school. I try to provide a number of opportunities for my students which include a school economy in which they earn paychecks, pay bills, and make purchases from a school store, as well as authentic task bins that provide real-life job tasks to prepare my students for real vocational tasks. In addition to these things, I enjoy trying to provide a reading-rich environment to promote fluency and comprehension. Often times, creating these opportunities go outside of the boundaries of my school budget, but they are just so important to my students' development and educational experience.
