Hello all!
I am a 7th year teacher, working in a low income school. Approximately 80% if four campus qualifies for free or reduced lunches. I strive each day to make my classroom a place where all students feel comfortable. I currently teach 6th grade and have the last 5 years. These learners are my favorite so far. They are expierimental with their personalities and are really trying to find who they are as individuals. As they seek out their truth I try to provide them a space to do so as well as a space that promotes learning.
In 2017, I lost my home and many of my school supplies as I was out on maternity leave and didn't want my precious classroom comforts to be destroyed by a sub. I am slowing rebuilding my classroom after this loss.
