Hello,
My name is Alicia Humphrey. I was born and raised in West Philadelphia by my lovely grandmother. When I was 18, I attended Penn State University, and obtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology at the age of 22. After graduating in 2014, I joined a Teach For America and moved to Baltimore, Maryland. During my time in Baltimore, I worked as a full time prekindergarten teacher at an elementary school, while pursuing a masters degree in education, at Johns Hopkins University. I taught prekindergarten for 4yrs, then I decided I needed a change. I moved up to 1st grade, let's just say, I LOVE TEACHING FIRST GRADE!!! I am now teaching at Abbottston Elementary, and it's a great school, with wonderful kids. I love working with children, and watching them learn and grow.
