About
I began teaching young children and made the move to high school a few years ago. I work with students with severe cognitive delays, physical disabilities and/or autism. My students are amazing young adults. I try to challenge them everyday whether it is reading or by greeting someone. Our goal is to allow our students to learn a skill that will help them in the future. My project is our school garden. By allowing students the opportunity to work independently and within a small group they will learn the fundamentals of working on a farm, as well as developing social skills, math, ELA and science skills.
