About
I am a mom of two and a teacher to 22. This will be my 19th year of teaching in an urban school that has a wide range of students from many ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Every year I get to greet 20-23 brand new faces. These children sometimes come with a lot of baggage, and I do my best each day to show them that they are loved and they CAN learn. I teach them that each new day is a fresh start! I believe it is my job to not just teach the curriculum but to teach them to be better humans. I want them to not only read and write, but how to problem solve, how to be respectful and kind to each other.
