I am a preschool teacher in a low income community, a mom of two, and a wife of almost 8 years. I've started teaching in 2011, took a short break when my oldest was born five years ago, and now I'm back in the classroom. Being in a low income community can be both challenging and so rewarding. Watching the kids grow as they get ready to start kindergarten is one of my favorite things.
