As a small child, and the last of many siblings, college looked like a far cry of possibilities. A long the way in life, there has been many instances of people who had no need to help or steer me in the right direction, did so.

I joined the military, and the rest was history. Of course, there were wars and tough times, but from a single opportunity, the rest of my life changed forever.
