My name is Carrie McDonald and I love teaching kindergarten! I enjoy it so much that this is my 22nd year working with five and six year olds. I think kindergartners are the best! They are eager to learn, curious, observant, smart, busy, and FUN! They have a sense of wonder about their world and get excited about learning new learn things from them too). I especially enjoy helping kindergarten children learn to believe they are ALREADY readers and writers who have important ideas to share. I like helping them learn to put those ideas down on paper with pictures, letters, or simple words and helping them know this is important work!

I am seeking donations to purchase items to enhance my classroom learning environment and add more flexible seating options for my students.
