I am a teacher in a high need area. Scholars need supplies. Scholars need uniforms. Scholars need enrichnent and reinforcement. Scholars need an environnent conducive for learning and in the community i serve, Harlem, New York. their needs are not being met. Many of our scholars live in shelters or low income houses and they can not purchase many items they need to excel in the classroom. The teacher spends all that he/she can, but it is never enough.
