Currently, I am teaching Visual Art at Bruce Elementary School. We are a Title 1 school in the heart of midtown Memphis. We have been working hard to make academic gains with our scholars and this year earned a Level 5 as well as the honor of being one of Tennessee's Reward Schools. I teach over 475 students each week the foundational skills for art making and problem solving using consumable materials. Funding to provide experiences and opportunities for my 'Masters in the Making' is limited which in turn means so is what we are able to produce. Your donation will help me provide a variety of mediums for my scholars to explore.

We were invited by Theatre Memphis to create an art exhibit for their show The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. The students chosen for this project did amazing pieces which Sold Out! - just like the production. The money raised from that project has launched us into the exciting opportunities with ceramics.
