I worked in baking for over ten years managing several financial institutions. Little by little I began to remember my true passion. My dream of being a teacher. I gave up my six figure salary to go back to school and last May, after several years struggling as a single mom of two, I finally graduate and became a teacher. Now I have some debt and a full heart. I'm excited to start my teaching career at a school in my community teaching first grade. My family has helped me purchase some things for my class. For as long as I can remember I have asked for teacher related presents for birthdays and holidays. I realize now the investment it takes to prepare a new classroom.
