Preparing third grade students for the MAAP reading test is difficult without proper resources. Many of my students do not have technology resources at home. In order to prepare students for a computer based test, they need more practice completing assessments on computer. Our students have to type essays on state test. Typing isn't a third grade skill. However, given the proper resources, they would be better prepared for the test. The technology can also be used to enhance learning in every subject area by giving way to endless resources.
