I have been teaching Spanish for almost 20 years! WOW just typing it is overwhelming! But... I can honestly tell you that I have LOVED every minute of it! I truly LOVE teaching Spanish!! I have seen and learned so many different ways of teaching a new language but the one true that has always stuck with me is READING! There is something just powerful in understanding written words and following a character and their story that is just mesmerizing! I always knew I wanted to be a teacher... that is a story I tell my students and I knew I wanted to teach Spanish once I hit high school! I fell in love with reading and I feel that if I can help a student fall in love with a book it will just benefit him/her in so many other ways! I have a very limited library!
