Amanda Jenkins

My name is Amanda Jenkins! I am a Kindergarten Teacher at a Title 1 school. I started teaching to make a difference in my community. I love the children that I teach and seeing them have their "light bulb" moments of understanding.
My students are always in need of additional school supplies (glue, folders, pencils, crayons, etc.).
My ideal teaching method is through play based learning. They absorb so much more when they learn through play than if sitting in a desk trying to be still and quiet.
Above all, my goal as a kindergarten teacher is to make sure EVERY student feels loved, respected, and appreciated.
