How do I withdrawal my funds?
To ensure that your campaign is successful and can continue to accept donations, it is important to setup and connect your Stripe account immediately. Doing this can prevent issues with accessing the donated funds.
Once your teacher profile is set up, you can go ahead and make provisions for withdrawals in your Stripe account. If you don’t have a Stripe account, click here. If you do have a Stripe account you can review your setting on Stripe.
Failure to connect account
Teachers will have up to 30 days from the date of the first donation to connect a Stripe account. Failure to do so will prevent your account from receiving new donations. Otherwise, as TeacherFunder deems necessary, all donations will be automatically refunded to their respective donors.
Your account will have up to 90 days to verify its payment processing information. Failing to do so will result in a refund of all donations made after the initial request to verify. We are required to take these measures since our payment processors cannot retain the funds for an extended period of time.
Withdrawals can be set up in a way to have the funds transferred to you or the beneficiary via a bank transfer. This transaction typically takes 2 to 7 business days to complete.
Withdrawals do not stop your campaign from receiving new donations. The total sum donated to date will remain visible on the teacher’s profile and will update in real time whenever new donations are received.
