Sheena DeBose

My name is Sheena DeBose, I have a credential to teach mild to moderate special education, and I've been teaching for approximately 7 years. Currently, I teach at a non public school of students with disabilities that have moderate to severe behavior issues. This school does serve multiple districts and relies on the funding from the districts that they serve. I love helping and serving the students that are in need of my help. Seeing any improvements in their academics and behaviors that may impede their learning is the fruit of my labor. However, because Altus Academy is a non public school, they reserve the right to pay teachers and teacher's aides below the average. Therefore, being able to provide the basic necessities for the classroom is difficult at times. I am also a single mother of 3, so it's like I'm taking care of 2 households lol.
