In our class we are family. I believe that students need to be able to collaborate with each other. I feel that they can learn so much from working together, as well as build their confidence. I constantly reflect on my teaching and what went well and what I can improve upon. I love learning and am passionate about science. feel students need as much hands on activities as well as real world connections to fully engage and comprehend the concepts they are learning. I am constantly looking for ways to engage students in learning through those connections. I teach at a title one school, so many of my students are unable to provide supplies, and lack the background knowledge needed to connect to the learning. Through activities, assignments, and STEM, I craft an environment that enables students to participate, and achieve in a caring, safe, and positive atmosphere. In our class we are family.
