Mandy Doughan

I am a 5th grade teacher at a rural Title I school in south Alabama. I teach Reading/ELA to three classes of nearly 30 students each. Our school has a large population of ELL and special education students. My passion is instilling a JOY of reading in children! My classroom is always in need of basic supplies such as pencils, paper, scissors... Many of my students do not have supplies and I run out quickly. I also try to give my students flexible seating choices, which can get costly, but I believe being comfortable truly helps them to learn their best!
