I work in a very poverty ridden area of South Carolina. Our classroom is a first year kindergarten class, we need items that can be reused from year to year we are not an established classroom yet. Making a donation will help this process. Our classroom is made up of children on all different levels from their fine motor, gross motor skills, writing and reading. Their social skills are almost non existent. We strive to teach the whole child while the school provides 2 meals a day and a snack. Parents do not provide all the needed yearly school supplies that we use so we make up the difference. Sometimes we even purchase clothes due to an extreme need or circumstance. All donations will help us to provide a loving, secure environment for our little ones with less stress. We are very excited about this project and look forward to what it will provide for our class and others. We strive to reach every child every day and teach the whole child. Their play is their work.
