The students I teach come from a low socio economic status. Our classroom is their safe haven from the gang infested neighborhood they live in. The school I teach in is a title 1 school and all students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. Although, our students come from rough neighborhoods they are always eager to learn. These students have the desire to learn and succeed in life. These students just need a rich learning environment, motivation, and guidance.
