Hello ?? My name is Leigh Ann Licata, and I have been teaching for over 30 years! Everyone knows that you don't go into education for the money, Lol... you do it because you love it!❤️?? ...And boy, do I LOVE it!

I am also a mother of two boys which gives me a wonderful perspective and lens from which I view the world. I have been fortunate to have taught in different parts of our beautiful country. Something that I find interesting, and to be true no matter where I go, is that people want what's best for their children. As a mother myself, I know that parents and guardians love ? their children and trust educators to nurture these precious youngsters, while providing them with a quality education. I have always tried to see each child as someone's baby. Before I do anything, I ask myself how I would want someone to interact with, and treat MY child. I also try to bring a sense of joy and wonder into the classroom setting. I want children to feel at home in our classroom and to want to come to school. Students in my classroom know that they are loved and respected unconditionally. We are ALL equal in this space, and I protect them as if they are my own. So, thank YOU for helping me to provide these brilliant young minds with the tools they need to succeed. Your generosity means more than you can know.
