Kristy Adamkiewicz

Thank you for looking at my profile. I am entering my 9th year of teaching. I currently teach Kindergarten at a school that is on the border of Detroit and Warren, MI. My students often don't have the basic school supplies needed for the classroom, so I buy the supplies for all my students. I do the best that I can to purchase everything for my students, but it all adds up and makes it very hard for me to keep up with it all, so any support would be so very helpful.

Seeing my students grow and flourish from the first day they walk into my classroom to the last day when they walk on stage to get their certificate is so exciting. Watching them experience learning and enjoying it is very rewarding. There are day to day challenges, but in the end it is very well worth it.

Every morning I have students from my previous years come to my room to say hello and give me a hug. It warms my heart and makes me realize that I did something right and made an impact in their lives.
