My name is Holly, and I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. My mom was a teacher, so school was always a comfortable place for me. As I entered high school, I realized how much I loved history. It spoke to me on a natural level. Throughout college I struggled deciding on a major. History? Education? Archaeology? Anthropology? What should I study? I finally made my decision, and in December of 2013, I graduated with my bachelors in history education. This degree allowed me to teach history from grades 7-12.
