I have been teaching math for 20 years. It is getting more and more difficult to teach math because students don't see the need to learn. They think that all they need is technology and if they don't know something, they can just ask Siri or Google! It's difficult to compete with cell phones and social media, but I am doing my best to help students learn to think.

My goal as a teacher is to make math fun and meaningful. I want to teach students the thinking and problem solving skills that they will need in any field of study that they choose to pursue.
