I'm a kindergarten teacher for a Title 1 school in Las Vegas with a high population of English language learners. My school, and my students, have limited resources and socio-economic challenges that require extra support. Many of my students come to school hungry and do not have the means to bring supplies or even dress in weather appropriate clothing. Regardless of these challenges my students are bright, resilient, and eager to learn. It is tremendously important to me that I do everything within my power to provide the best learning opportunities for my students.
