CATHY SMITH

I am a wonderful wife to my husband of 20 years. I have 3 lovely daughters and a beautiful granddaughter. I grew up in Virginia and earned a scholarship for Math at Norfolk State University. However, I did not graduate with a math degree. My curiosity caused me to try a couple of different majors as well as a couple of different Universities. I eventually graduated from Park University with a degree in Social Psychology, Human Resources Management, and a Master's in Counseling. I also have an instructors license to teach Cosmetology, and I owned my own salon for 12 years. My experiences have kept me grounded and I enjoy sharing my experiences with my young scholars.
