I wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. I used to play school with my younger sister. After graduating high school and getting married I pursued my dream to finish my bachelor's degree, then my Master's degree in Elementary Education. I was hired to teach fifth grade in one of the toughest schools in our district. I have been teaching fifth grade in the same school for going on 8 years and love our students. Some days are a challenge but I wouldn't trade it for the world. These students deserve a high quality education from a teacher they can relate to.
