Ashley Wooten

Hi!! I am Ms. Wooten and I am currently a 5th Grade ELA teacher in the West Point Consolidated School District in West Point, Mississippi. I will be completing my third year teaching this May! It has been an amazing, whirlwind experience. Through the tears and the smiles, the good times and bad, I have learned so much from my students and enjoy watching them grow. I also have two amazing little boys that keep me motivated, not only for their future, but for the future of all students. It has been a struggle, funding my classroom and my home, but I have made it through the years. I provide supplies for many students, as well as "extras" that encourage and enhance student engagement. My future goals for my classroom include adding a document camera (aka lifesaver) and tables.
