Ashley Rasizzi

I was born and raised in Taylor, Michigan. Although, I was born without something most people have. A comfort zone. I moved to Kent, Ohio to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Deaf Education, moved to Framingham, Massachusetts to student teach at an amazing school, and now I live in Houston, Texas with a career in the field I love. My college career was nothing shy of unique. I was the only graduating senior in my class (from the three I started with), and then because of COVID-19, my student teaching was cut in half and my graduation was cancelled. Then, after not having a full semester of student teaching, i taught my first year during a pandemic. With an incredible amount of support, and by some miracle, I won New Teacher of the Year and my students may have actually learned a thing or two. This year, being like my first year of teaching all over again, I'm looking for a fresh start. Redecorating, new ideas, and new students. Thank you for any and all support you're willing to offer!
